The connection of Mother Earth and street rallies

An estimated 15,000 Filipinos participated in the rally yesterday that took place in Makati CBD protesting about Charter Change (CHACHA) that the current administration and its allies are pushing. But what does this CHACHA really mean? And how many of those estimated 15,000 Filipinos that participated in this rally know at least the general overview of the word? I really do hope that at least 90% of those who participated the rally yesterday really know what they are protesting and not just "paid puppets" who were convinced to join the protest to add number. It's not that hard to convince paid puppets in rallies these days as evident by poverty. We all know this... The government knows this and so are its detractors that's why I personally hope that at least 90% of the rallyists yesterday really understand deeply as to why they protest against CHACHA.

I do not take any side between the administration and opposition. I take the side of which is right for me. By "right for me" it means, getting all the facts of an issue (both positive and negative points) before deciding which is the right thing to say and do about the issue. Honestly I don't want to put too much effort in learning this CHACHA issue as there are a lot of issues that I focus my "limited energy" on. By limited, I mean, my 24 hours per day as we all have limited energy to use per day and I choose to spend most of my energy on things or issues that will improve myself on a more personal and controlled level. CHACHA is an external issue to which I do not have direct control of the outcome that's why I don't really give much attention to it until now that it is affecting my "personal advocacy" which is the protection and survival of Mother Earth...

I don't really care whether there would be a change in the constitution to improve our country for the better or whether a change of political country leaders (which we do regularly and personally all shout that they are THE leader that this country need for whatever funny reasons they have and when they are already on the position it seems they are just repeating the same mistake of their predecessors over and over again) for the better. My position on the issue is simple... I certainly don't support politicians who keep on attacking other politicians instead of supporting one another and cooperate with each other to improve our country. I certainly don't support politicians who are "too clean and too perfect" as I don't believe that there is one human being on our world that is Zero cavity especially those politicians who are angry with "corruption". I just hope (really really hope) that they themselves are practicing what they preach by not being corrupt in any aspect. I certainly don't support arrogant politicians because it sends a wrong message especially to the eyes of the young ones and old ones who have maturity level of young ones. These are some of the things that I don't personally support. Meaning, I support all of its opposites. Change of a constitution or not, it boils down to WHO shall lead this country as a republic or as a parliament. The opposition don't want CHACHA because they feel it will inhibit them from becoming the main leader of the country as they feel that the changing of constitution is just a way to extend the administration's term while the administration want CHACHA because they think it will improve the politics in the country. All parties have their own personal agenda thus personal gain from it. So it doesn't really matter. As to who to believe between the parties, citizens like me doesn't really have the mechanism to honestly and truely know.

So why does these rallies affect Mother Earth? Have you seen Makati CBD especially the area around Ayala Tower One in Ayala Ave., Paseo Ave. and Makati Ave.? I happen to see the remains a while ago when I dropped off my wife in her building. Paper confettis scattered in the area are everywhere which are pretty unneccessary in voicing out one's concern. No need to scatter "garbages" during rallies like yesterday in Makati just to air out one's concern. These small garbages collectively affects Mother Earth negatively. Imagine the trees that were cut down just for these confettis which result to flash floods and high carbon levels in the atmosphere which in turn results to Global Warming which would lead to extinction of mankind... Imagine the drainage being clogged by these confettis and other "small" garbages especially made with plastics and styrofoam which also result to big floods as it's very hard to dissolve which take years... So to all the politicians, both administration and opposition, you love our country? Love the betterment of the majority of the Filipino people by not giving fish but by teaching them how to fish for themselves... Love Mother Earth because our country is a part of one world by protecting it to the simplest and grandest ways we can individually think off... I don't have anything against rallies as it's a pure form of democracy but there is such a thing as "responsible democracy" and throwing garbage and the rally leaders initiating garbages (confettis) are very irresponsible and certainly an abuse of democracy.
