Goodbye Angel Locsin, Iza Calsado, Katrina Halili, Anne Curtis and to other billboard gods and goddesses

When I drive by EDSA, it's really hard not to notice the billboard ads not just because they are huge, huge, huge but also because it's hard to resist not to look at the sexy and hot images of Angel Locsin, Iza Calsado, Katrina Halili (especially now that she is all over the news with her Careless Whisper dance and sex scandal issue with the pervert to the highest level as per Senator Bong Revilla Jr. - Dr. Hayden Kho), Anne Curtis, Bianca King, Angelica Panganiban, Piolo Pascual (fyi, this one is meant to be for the females and gays out there and I'm neither one of them... hahahaha...) and other sizzling hot celebrities. If you're a straight guy, would you be able to resist the billboard photo of Angel Locsin on this post? Huh? What? Uhuh... Hmmm... I thought so...

But they may soon be extinct as most billboard owners are voluntarily bringing down such billboard advertisements because of some complains from concerned parents and individuals according to a news article today in Inquirer.net as per the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). These concerned people definitely have a good point why they want these "sexy" billboards be brought down as aside from the fact that it have caused a lot of road accidents in the past because male and female drivers can't resist the temptation of being wide-eyed to these billboards which defocused them from driving, it is also giving a wrong impression to the young ones and those who are old ones who think like young ones do.

I definitely support this cause although it would still be best that this move to be secondary priority for parents and give more of their effort in personally guiding their kids on what they personally think is right and wrong as "sometimes" requests to shut down such contents take forever or not at all to be implemented. Effort in personally guiding your kids is definitely so much better in terms of effectiveness as compared to effort in complaining to regulatory bodies as this would take a lot of time, money and effort before getting any result.

I guess this means bye-bye to Angel Locsin in EDSA which sometimes help soothe traffic. Now I'm definitely thinking more of buying a portable car DVD and watch films by those "hot" celebrities... hahahahaha...
